I'm surprised they didnt up the terror alert level after they said they know Al Qaeda might strike again soon. I wonder if they know more

The terror level rating is useless. They may know more. After all, they knew more before 9/11 but couldn't figure out how to process the info or judge its importance. A huge Israeli spy ring was uncovered in the wake of 9/11
and about 200 Israelis were sent home. All swept under the carpet, of course. You see, the Israelis probably {almost certainly} knew in advance about 9/11.

That could be, but it definitely looks like the Saudis knew about it.
The Saudi government and a high-level Saudi guy are now being questioned by the CIA and FBI. The Saudi is Omar al-Bayoumi, who once threw a welcoming party for two eventual hijackers and who had several connections to the Saudi government.

No doubt the Saudis and others were involved. Alledgedy, two of the Isreali spies lived on the same block as the hijackers.
